ABOUT ME: Valentina Liberati
Foreign languages and cultures have always been my greatest passion. That’s why I decided to turn that passion into a career. During my studies in “Linguistic and Cultural Mediation” at the Sapienza University of Rome, I participated in the “Erasmus” exchange program promoted by the European Union, studying for a year at Berlin’s “Humboldt Universität.” During that stay, I took several courses in translation, specializing in the Italian-to-German and German-to-Italian language pairs.
The following year I continued my studies at the University of Vienna (Zentrum für Translationswissenschaft), majoring in “Conference Interpreting.” There I was able to acquire further skills allowing me to work as an interpreter and cross-cultural mediator, guaranteeing cross-cultural communication without misunderstandings.
I’ve been working as a translator and interpreter in Berlin since April, 2016, specializing in Italian, German, and English. I also offer various linguistic services (working in collaboration with certified colleagues and language schools) for private individuals, businesses, and translation agencies.
If you’re looking for a linguistic expert, don’t hesitate to contact me:
Since April 2017, I am a Member of the Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators (BDÜ).
